This bandoneon has no maker marks, just “BAND ONION”

I bought it off of an antique dealer who bought it at an estate sale. It was an heirloom that had been in the family since it’s original purchase. It came with many prize ribbons from the Chautauqua county fair of 1941, one of which was for this bandoneon
